Job Quitters shouldn’t be overlooked.
When one quits a job, it may be for a number of reasons. They may hate their boss, find themselves not fitting in in the organization, personal reasons, etc. Sometimes they may quit so they can relieve themselves, get a break.
Taking a break can be a needed change. Taking the time to slow and wind things down. It gives you different perspective. About your daily habits, the choices you make. If someone is overwhelmed or just constantly working, they may start to feel they are losing control of their life. Or that life and the tasks within it are not enjoyable anymore. The person may start to compensate parts of their personal life because work can get too stressful. Healthy lifestyle choices such as cooking, going to the gym can get lost in the mix. Never mind people who have a care taking responsibility as well.
Moreover, taking things slowly will allow you to see things you weren’t competent on earlier, possibly dragging you down, and give you a chance to re-learn them. For me, this was in cooking. Given some initiative, it will allow you to focus on things that have been left by the waist side. For me this was in blogging, and personal projects of mine. I didn’t know how to balance the two – working full time, and maintaining these projects on the side.
So what I’m getting to is that someone quitting a job may be a chance for that person to improve themselves. Look, they’re the ones not getting paid during the time. They are sacrificing their pay to work on some aspect of their life. Whether it be health, school, or personal improvement. Job quitters usually have something to prove.
