Workshop

Today marked a cool and rewarding experience for me. Firstly it was rewarding because after hearing just one week ago, being invited to do my first Workshop, I have accomplished it! The fruits of my labor, stress, and pain over the last week have paid off. I was really anxious because it was my first time doing something like this, although I tried to make it seem that not way 🙂 Presenting and facilitating a workshop for a group of learners through Zoom.

It was cool because I guess its the first time I had to sign a Independent Contractor agreement, issue an invoice, and be fully in charge of the content with many levels of freedom. It was empowering. Although I realize events and opportunities like this come far and few between, I now see how the opportunity can arise and possibly keep an eye for them in the future.

Overall, I feel relieved that its over. Having got some feedback from the participants, and co-hosts. I can’t complain, most of it worked in my favour.
